Katie grew up in the town of Sonoma, and has been obsessed with radio since childhood. She started at Wine Country Radio as an intern in 2001, while attending college for Radio Broadcasting, and working at Tower Records. While completing her degree at SFSU she was fortunate enough to be a part of the Promotions team at the legendary KFRC 99.7FM in San Francisco. Katie has been with the Krush on and off since her time as an intern, and served as Promotions Director from 2007-2012, as well as the Midday DJ. She met her husband when his band performed on Andre’s Thursday Night Live program (Thanks, Andre)! When not on the air, Katie is a mom to two extraordinary daughters, and works for Drip Drop.
