w/ Ellie James
With his new song Saving Grace cracking the Americana Charts Top 50, we can officially call Alex Jordan a rising star and one to watch. With his new album Queen Kerosene helmed by four-time Grammy Awards winning producer and longtime Los Lobos Member Steve Berlin, it’s a colorful, kaleidoscopic record whose songs make room for soul, Tex-Mex, groove-driven R&B, Americana, jazz, honky-tonk and heartland rock and roll. You’ve heard the songs on the Krush, now you can hear them live and in person. As a frontman and a songwriter, Alex Jordan shines his light on a signature sound that pays tribute to timeless American music, while making it his own.
Opening the show is Ellie James, winner of both Songwriter of the Year and Best Female Artist in the 2023 Norbays. Stylistically unique and captivating, she mixes lush sounds with the style and edge of her rock ‘n’ roll backyard. Ellie James’ music is both genuine and dance-inducing – be prepared to say “I knew her when.”

Spike Sikes & His Awesome Hotcakes
w/ Anna Jae
Like hotcakes themselves, the music Spike’s Awesome Hotcakes plays goes by many names. Soul. Swing. Rhythm & Blues. Jazz. Jump. It’s a sound that’s classic and simple, but when it’s done right, it hits the spot, and has you grinning from ear to ear. The Awesome Hotcakes were named “Best Blues Band” three years in a row in the Napa, Sonoma, and Marin Counties by readers of both the Pacific Sun and The North Bay Bohemian. At this point, Spike is family.
Opening the show is Anna Jae, she blends soulful melodies and thought provoking lyrics with tasteful instrumentation. At every show Anna strives to connect with the audience through relatable songs about love, life and chaos.

The Rockabilly Roadhouse with Big Dave presents:
Mitch Polzak & The Royal Deuces
w/ Aaron Burnham & The Brushfires
Every week, Big Dave thrills Krush listeners with his popular high-octane roots show known as Big Dave’s Rockabilly Roadhouse. He recently produced the album honoring the psychedelic poster and album artist on “The Mouse that Rocked: A Tribute to Stanley Mouse.” Big Dave has curated an evening of amped-up classic roots and rockabilly that is guaranteed to get the Backyard jumpin’.
The big guy from out West and larger than life energy (he’s also 6’5’) performer, guitarist, singer, banjoist, songwriter, composer, entertainer, musical historian and teacher Mitch Polzak wears his heart on his sleeve and his playing in his heart.
Polzak performs rockabilly and 60’s country music with the religious fervor of Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash and delivers a Honky Tonk ballad with the sincerity of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. Mitch will bring a room to a fevered pitch of joyous energy on the dance floor and then tell you a story in a song like two old friends sitting at a kitchen table at midnight.
Aaron Burnham keeps the American troubadour tradition of Johnny Cash and Hank Williams alive with his original tunes and cowboy croons. With his backing band the Brushfires, Aaron will be sure to put some western swing in your step. Their sound is equally at home at a swing-dance night, a chili cook-off, a rock club, or a concert hall.
