Autumn Spice Julep
1 oz. Pineapple sage simple syrup
5 Pineapple sage leaves
2 oz. Copalli White Rum
1/4 oz. St. Elizabeth’s Allspice Dram
1/2 oz. Meyer lemon juice (optional)
Rub one pineapple sage leaf on rim and inside of stemless wine glass or julep-style glass. Tear the rest of the leave in half and add to mixing glass. Muddle, then add rum, simple syrup, and allspice dram. Add a measure of ice and stir. Strain into prepared cocktail glass and garnish with sprig of pineapple sage or edible flower.
