3 Kumquats, halved
2 oz. Old Tom-style gin
1/3 oz. Luxardo maraschino liqueur
2/3 oz. Fresh lemon juice
In a cocktail shaker, muddle kumquats to release oils and juice. Then add gin, lemon juice, and liqueur and a measure of ice. Shake until well-chilled. Strain into an old fashioned-style glass over fresh ice and garnish with a kumquat half and an edible flower.
