Celebrate the final stretch of summer with The Krush 95.9 and an evening of live Northern California music at Vintage Space inside the Flamingo Resort & Spa.

Headlining the End of Summer Bash are Danny Sorentino & Friends, led by Sonoma County singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player Danny Sorentino. Raised on the adventurous sounds of San Francisco freeform radio, Danny draws inspiration from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Neil Young, garage rock and music with genuine soul. Explore Danny Sorentino’s music and history.

For this special performance, Danny will be joined by an accomplished group of North Bay musicians: Dave Sampson, Gary Silva, Kent Fossgreen and Robert Malta.

Gary Silva, an accomplished R&B drummer, has earned his place among the elite through decades of collaboration with some of the most influential figures in blues history, including John Lee Hooker, Big Mama Thornton, Albert Collins, Elvin Bishop, Dr. John, Buddy Guy, Luther Tucker, Norton Buffalo, and many more legendary artists. He currently holds down the drum chair in the Volker Strifler Band.

Robert Malta is the singer/guitarist in “HUGElarge”, the band that KRSH’s Big Dave has called, “America’s favorite two man power trio”! He also records and performs with Danny Sorentino in “Popular Beat Combo”.

Kent Fossgreen has been playing bass in Sonoma County for a really long time. He has played with the Michael Barclay Blues Band, the Jami Jamison Band, the Bohemian Highway, Lucky Buck and the Winners and the occasional Danny Sorentino solo gig as well as a host of others. He is also an amplifier and keyboard repairman owning and operating Backstage Service in bucolic Cotati Ca.

Dave Sampson is a freelance guitarist, producer, multi-instrumtentalist and music instructor. Drawing from his experiences living and playing in the music scenes of Austin, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Memphis . Dave crossed paths with up-and-coming  singer/songwriter David Luning.  They immediately hit it off, and soon started recording, playing in the Bay Area, and touring the western US. He has been David’s guitar player since 2010. Dave Sampson, Gary Silva, Kent Fossgreen and Robert Malta.

Also appearing is Anna Jae Band, led by Redding-born singer, songwriter and guitarist Anna Jae. Her music pairs candid songwriting with a warm, expressive stage presence. Her catalog includes the 12-song album It Hurt, But I’m Glad I Felt It, along with singles including “Broken” and “Wonder.” With her red acoustic guitar and the energy of a full band behind her, Anna brings heart, personality and an unmistakable sense of joy to the stage. Learn more about Anna Jae.

The evening is part of The Krush On the Road, taking the independent spirit of Sonoma County’s Wine Country radio station beyond the airwaves and into local music venues. The Krush 95.9 has a longstanding connection to live music and regional artists through its concerts and community events.

The party takes place at Vintage Space, Flamingo Resort & Spa’s retro-futuristic music lounge. Originally built in 1957 during the dawn of the Space Age, the room combines mid-century atmosphere, live entertainment and stellar cocktails under one roof. Explore Vintage Space.
