Andre’s formative years were in Montreal (he is fluent in French), although his mother’s American side of the family had him spending many summers and holidays in Wisconsin. He moved to Marin with his mom when he was a teenager, back to Canada for college, and finally to Los Angeles to attend the Grove music school. Having played guitar since the age of 5, Andre has always been interested in music, and related fields. He stepped into Wine Country Radio in 2001.
He started at KRSH on-air with Doug Smith on a Friday morning segment called “Geek Speak” talking about technology, he went on to host overnights on KRSH and had a weekend slot on KRSH for many years. Andre also hosted a live local music show on KRSH called “Thursday Night Live” and had over 200 artists on the show over the years.
Andre also plays guitar in the Sonoma County band “Tribal Hippie Under Ground Zone” (The THUGZ).
In Addition to being on-air weekdays 6am-11am, he is currently the Operations Manager for the five Wine Country Radio stations.
