Louis Tomlinson posted on Instagram that he was canceling upcoming in-store album signings and pop-up events in the U.K., after taking a fall after his concert in New York City on Friday.
Tomlinson said he fell after Friday night’s show and broke his arm “pretty badly,” sharing shots of x-rays of his arm alongside his statement: “Thank you to everyone that’s listened to the new album so far, it means the world to me. The show last night in New York was incredible. Unfortunately, on the way back I’ve managed to fall and break my right arm pretty badly. So I’m gutted to say I’ll have to reschedule the in-store signings next week. New dates will be announced very soon. Thank you for all your support and sorry to anyone who was coming next week. Louis.”
The announcement comes shortly after Tomlinson announced his 2023 Faith in the Future world tour, which follows the arrival of his latest solo album of the same name. Tomlinson thanked fans for supporting his new LP, tweeting, “The support for Faith in the Future has been incredible!! Easing the pain of my broken arm haha!”
